Thank you for visiting the FiggTree Youth Recording Academy’s website (F.Y.R.A.) .  Where we Support Dreams and Build Self-Esteem. FYRA is a non-profit (501c3)  organization that’s dedicated to elevating the knowledge of performing arts, music education, computer skills, electronics, multi-media and Broadcast engineering to youth within the Greater Atlanta Metro Area. Through classroom study and direct hands-on-labs, the youth  can gain immeasurable insight and endless information of music, film, video, and the entertainment industry as a whole. Phase Two of FYRA has been established to teach youth about violence prevention and teaching them alternative ways for conflict resolution.  We have partnered up with our sister organization, Extended Family US , which assists women and their children seeking refuge from domestic violence.  Together we are able to teach ways of stopping the cycle of violence for future generations through the children's newfound knowledge of embracing the positive. Most importantly, our program support youth and help them to define and work towards achieving personal goals, increasing confidence, identifying accomplishments and learning valuable technological skills that will improve their chances for a successful future.
